The Virginia Finals Buddy Team program pairs teams across the state in order to foster an experience of friendship, sportsmanship, and exchange at Virginia Finals. Teams are matched based on their level of participation and, where possible, in a different Challenge. Buddy teams are expected to complete the Virginia Finals Buddy Team Challenge and support their buddy team by attending their buddy team’s Central Challenge. Your team could win $1000 to help you go to Global Finals 2017!

Virginia will be advancing FIRST, SECOND & THIRD PLACE teams in all Challenges & Levels to Global Finals 2017.
We will also have 5 WILDCARDS* to award.
Names of all eligible Wild Card teams will be chosen at random at the end of the Closing Ceremony. Any team that places first in its Team Challenge or Instant Challenge BUT does not advance to Global Finals will be eligible to have their name in the pool. The winning teams must be present to win the Wild Card! Please remain for the entire Closing Ceremony — your team might be a lucky winner of a 2017 Wild Card!
