Team Managers, please review the Team Managers Tips Document.
Did your team advance to State? YAYAY!!!! I know how wonderful it was to hear that your team was going because we heard all kinds of screaming and watched happy dances out there on the gym floor. Congratulations to everyone who competed!
Now, teams are required to send trained appraisers to the Affiliate Tournament. So – please go to: tinyurl.com/appraise2017 to register to appraise for your team. If your team submits 2 trained appraisers, the State will waive the $90 tournament fee! Just have them both register using the team number and then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. We will manually waive your tournament fee.
The State really needs trained appraisers, so if you are not representing a team and want to help out, go to https://registeryourteam.org/appraiser and go all the way to the bottom for Virginia 2017 Affiliate Finals, April 8.
On April 7th, there will be an Appraiser Appreciation Dinner at 6:30 p.m. before the State Appraiser Meeting at 8 p.m. You will meet your fellow State Appraisers and then go to your sites and meet with your Challenge Masters.
See you soon!
